Whatever important we seek to achieve depends upon our personal improvement! For instance, to be more successful with your customers, you need more patience, understanding, composure and persuasiveness. To be more effective in your job you need motivation, enthusiasm, personal organization, willingness to learn new things, and the ability to get along with different sorts of people.
In our personal life, we need better communication with people around us, more courage and assertiveness, and at the same time empathy (seeing the word through the other party’s eyes), along with the ability to clarify our “wants” and organize our goals and actions accordingly.
On the other hand, we come to life without a “user’s manual”. In reality, we oftentimes act on the spur of the moment, get carried away by our emotions, our social influences or beliefs-consciously or unconsciously-learnt from our environment. Where is our free will? Where are our conscious choices? What is that we really want, and how are we going to get it?
All the above issues are related to our personal development, our self-knowledge, the improvement of our skills and our ability to align our course of action with the goals we’ve chosen for ourselves which will bring us success, satisfaction and fulfillment.
